Did anyone see the MacIntyre programme on tuesday night ???

It was about Manchester gang leaders Dominic and Dessie (mostly Dom) Noonan. Strangely enough, just a few days before the showing of the programme, Dessie Noonan was stabbed to death near his home. The police asked C5 not to show the programme as it may jeopardise their investigation. The court first agreed with the police and banned the showing but C5 won an appeal.

What was the point of this programme ?

It only glorifies these hoods. They are "supposed" to be responsible for countless killings, bank robberies and protection.

Much of the programme was showing them wondering around, and talking like moronic thugs. The brothers were complaining that the police had it in for them (can't think why) but they keep getting off with everything.
