Having changed my broadband service provider a number of times, I have created a website that reviews the major providers in the UK.

Here's the link:

Hopefully this will prove helpful for people considering upgrading from dialup to Broadband, or for people looking to change their existing provider in order to get a better deal.

Regards
Peter

Thats great but you would need to have a lot more providers on.

I know one that's always missed off, because they don't advertise to save money.

The Utility Warehouse. or Telecom Plus.

Broadcall service combines broadband and telephone package is great.

Also do phone, mobiles and energy.

All on one monthly statement.

Cheap as chips

Being very green in the mysteries of the internet, I have been asked to research alternatives to adsl to provide as close to 100% uptime as it is possible to get. Basically my employer wants access to a remote server 24/7 and for the most part this will be via the fixed copper wire and adsl. However in the event of this technology failing we need an immediate switchover to a back up. All the companies I am contacting just suggest an alternative isp but I believe this will just use the same wire and will not provide insurance against a mouse chewing the cable locally?
Any help or advice most welcome. Many thanks

I've just switched from BT to AOL and used http://wwx.broadband-expert.co.uk which was quite informative!
