Well I must say that I am a little disappointed with that result today, negative City defending led to the Baggies first goal. Good play for their second.
Then late in the game, referee Graham Poll gave us the chance to come back into the game. After giving us a free kick which their players disputed, he moved the ball 10 yards forward (as is the rule when a player shows decent after a free kick is awarded against his team).
Richard Dunne scored from the free kick. It looked a really good goal. (2-1). Then he disallowed it, saying RD had shot before he blew his whistle.
Mr Poll was wrong as was CLEARLY shown on Match Of The Day.
RD started his run and Mr P was shown (on film) to have blown his whistle BEFORE RD shot. It was a good goal and should have stood.
This is by no means the first time this ref has cost City. Grrrr !!!
Not happy. |
