Hi all - I would appreciate a little help from everyone who loves their hols.
I love travelling, writing and English history (strange, I know, but I'm on the patch). To put them all together, I'm planning a website where people can download / read up on themed tours.
Tours could be something like: Blood and Gore in Medieval England, Victorian London, Elizabethan Palaces, Saxon Monuments, Prehistoric Britian, Roman Britain ... the list is fairly endless when you start to put your mind to it. I could even consider doing 'famous film sets' or 'chase the best Full English' (for stag and hen do's or something like that).
The tour description would have a map, descriptions of sights to see, recommendations where to stay, where to eat ...whatever. But all specifically British.
Now my question: would you look at a site like this? Would you be interested in picking up a 'pre-designed' itinerary? And if so, what topics / themes would interest you?
Sorry for the endless post!
But many thanks for your help! |

Sounds like a great idea.
I don't think I've seen anything like it either - you could be on to something quite unique there.
Good luck. |

| Hi I found a great one run by the BBC I think - it's called angelholidays.co.uk and looks great to do - very different and it helps children too, what a unique idea, I have booked but there's only 7 places left! |
