| I have just seen in the TV listings channel 4 or E4 are showing Big Brother US. I cannot this is on. I don't enjoy the reality shows but the last BB shown here had the worst ratings ever and the auditions for the new series has a poor turn out in some areas. Why do the programmes people thing putting on the USA version will work. Does anyone actually watch reality TV anymore |

hiya lillybee,
i personally can't stand bb, try as hard as possible not to watch or listen to people talking about the program(i do have a friend who loves bb and watches it as often as possible, don't understand why lol)
there are some 'reality tv' programs i do see from time to time thou as they are about subjects that interest me, xfactor, master chef and dancing on ice, because i love listening to music(though not all xfactor is good music the ones that can't sing during the auditions are rather funny IMO) i love cooking and love ice dancing/figure skating(though i can't skate any more  due to ankle and back injuries)
so while i do appreciate some forms of 'reality tv' i can't understand why people would want to watch a bunch of people placed in a contrived situation who have to do absurd tasks in order to get food and drink to make them appear as total morons?? beyond me that one lol

Because they are dumb asses, lived in the states for a year, and they will watch anything.

Poor ratings? What does that say about the people over here?
Goes to show you that if people aren't fighting and killing each other ratings goes down... |
