Good evening. This film was in English and could have been French of English produced. It had a historic Merchant and Ivory sense about it.
The story was about an event planner in the 18th century I would say he was amazing and did great things wtih POP UP walls of castles, fun entertainment, was in charge of all of the food, etc. for a grand affair. I believe the king was coming to visit the home of a poorer nobleman.
Great color - great effects. The lead seemed a bit like Gérard Depardieu, but I do not think it was him.
I believe that the name of the film was the man's name. Any thoughts would be appreciated. |
