CHOCOLATE ORANGE POTS

If you love chocolate, this is one of the most rich and indulgent desserts you’ll eat … let’s enjoy this treat but also do something for those who can’t – so please give what you can to Comic Relief


Serves 6

Ingredients
200g of 70% Cocoa chocolate
2 tablespoons Golden Syrup
30g Butter
Finely grated zest of orange
25ml Cointreau
125g mascarpone
125ml double cream

Method

• Mix the mascarpone with the orange zest and Cointreau
• Whip half of the double cream until fairly stiff
• Break up the chocolate and put in a glass bowl with the Golden Syrup and butter. Melt over a pan of hot water or in the microwave for about 1 min
• Stir until all the chocolate is melted and then firstly fold in the liquid double cream, then stir in the orange mascarpone and finally fold in the whipped double cream
• Divide into small dishes or Espresso cups
