Hi, I hoping to gat a breast reduction on the NHS, does anyone no if they lift them as well as make them smaller?

(i wont be complaining about that!!!) but they do settle. so answer to your question is yes. also i have a friend of a friend who has had it done and she said when she stood up for the first time after op she was amazed her quote was "i feel like i had boobs like a 16 year old again." goodluck Very Happy

I can certainly agree with that I had my B R in July this year and my nipples moved up 16 cms! I wish I had had it done sooner, the improvement is fantastic.........Good luck with your B R

Mandy, how long did you wait for op after pre op appointment? ive got mine 21st of this month, in letter it did say i would get my date then. but a bit worried they may give me a date of the week after? would be great just need notice to sort out time of f work for me and hubby as he be looking after our 3 kids. did ring hospital but they couldnt help as dont have assess to operation dates just said it probably be within 4 weeks

Hi there

I was contacted by phone by the consultants secretary on 7-7-09 for my pre op on the10-07-09 and during that same conversation she told me that providing all was well with the per op, I would be having the surgery on the following Tuesday 14-07-09. IF I couldn't make the pre op date the surgery wouldn't have been done on the 14th.Hope this helps as you can see I live in Lincolnshire and went into Notts City Hospital as that was the nearest for me for this type of op. regards Mandy
