Very interesting thread.
There is a black Mini Cooper in the West End of London registered A 1.
Surely, that must be Britain's most valuable number plate. Wink

I believe that A 1 is owned by one of the Arab Royal families along with 1 A.
Incidently, I understand that A 2 is on a Bentley in the Weybridge area of Surrey.
