Whilst I am an admirer of Jenson, the Honda Team are well off the pace and continue with reliability problems, I don't see them coming good for at least 2009, by which time, I think, Jenson will have tired of driving an uncompetitive car. I see him moving to perhaps Red Bull, with the brilliant technical director "Adrian Newey" at the helm. Jenson will stay with Honda in 2008, but then move on in 2009. At his age, the options are getting less and less. He desperately wants the F1 world championship, but his chances are dwindling every season.
Lewis the new kid on the block, in my opinion can only get better, I just hope Alonso can get a really competitive drive, so that we can see them head to head in a real race and not driving to team orders. The only other two in contention are the two Ferrari Drivers, Felipe Massa and Kimi Räikkönen, I expect them to race much closer together, much in the way that Micheal Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello did when they where at Ferrari.
All in all, it looks like another nail biting season 2008.

What do people think of the season so far?
I'm enjoying the lack of TC, there aren't the power slides of the 80's but the drivers are working harder at the wheel. |
