Israel-Palestinian conflict: REASONS OF HATE?

Hi everyone!

The territorial problem is a big reason of the hate, since both arabians and jews think that they belong to that territorial area.

But what I wonder is: Is there any [b]religious[/b], [b]social[/b], [b] cultural[/b] reasons of the hate?

I also wonder which social and cutural differences there is between these people.

The strife is generated by one people's disregard for human life and the other's need to defend themselves, since one has broken all peace accords to date and refused to acknowledge the other as a legitimate state.

Socially and culturally, the land was settled by cultivated by, and home to Jews for centuries. The Palestinians had imposed themselves in the land only decades before Israeli independance in 1948.

Do you know what "Palestinians" really are??? They are nomadic people, one could say, who left, and fled, from Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, and other bordering countries. These places would not accept them, mostly because they were criminals. So they set their sights on Israel, and for decades acted as if it was their right to live there.

There was never an intention to kick out the Palestinians. On the contrary, the Jewish Israelis wanted to make the place THE Jewish State, and for good reason, and the Palestinians were too Anti-Semitic to allow that. And would not accept it. The war was neccessary for the protection of the Jewish right. The Palestinians were constantly offered deals and treaties which were never good enough. And their solution was suicide bombing in public areas, and instigating wars during Jewish holidays.

But heere is the biggest answer:

The first words of the Koran, the Islamic bible, translate to something like: "All those who do not accept Islam will burn in hell".

The idea of a Jewish state in the middle of an Islamic domain is what has fueled for so many years.

Everyone sees the poverty and home loss amongst Palestinians and sides immediately with them, never taking into account that they have never been willing to accept Israel as a Jewish state, and have used terror and murder for decades.

Just because Israel is bigger doesnt mean that the Palestinians should be patronized. Their terror should not be rewarded.

And let it be acknowledged that all of these neighboring countries who aide with the Palestinians have made no attempts to save them from the "terror" of Israelis. This is because in reality the Palestinians are unfavorable to everyone in the Middle East. That is why they showed up in what is now Israel in the first place.

But leave it to Americans to root for the underdog blindly and brashly.

Why? Why do you think they're so hated today? And why should they get an Arab land? Why not a piece of German land or other European nations lands who have persecuted them? Just because the Arabs own land it doesn't mean that you have to take it away. Lets say you own a lot of land, does that give me the right to take a piece of it since I don't have any and you have too much?

Where they now call Isreal, people were living. They killed and expelled these people and made room for the Jewish homeland. Isn't that sick? The persecuted have now become the persecuters. They stole a people's country and they now want them to thank them for doing it? Is that humane? They are worst than animals. If U.S. is so sympathetic to the Jewish cause why don't they offer them a homeland in the Nevada dessert or some place else in the vast land of the U.S.. Why be in the middle of the Arab nations where they're so hated? Why not somewhere safe in the U.S.? They have oil in Texas, why not go and live there? Have you ever asked yourself these questions? I have, and it makes me sick that in the twentieth century there are still people such as the Israelis. They are main cause of the conflict in the middle East. How many more people have to die for their luxury and comfort? Every nationality in the world has suffered, why do the Jews have to have their own homeland? Why not a homeland for Christians? Or Muslims? Or Hindus? Isn't the whole idea of land just for a single kind of human being racist? Aren't they the true racists in the world? To offer citizenship based on the kind of human being that you're? And they say they're a secular democracy, my ass. They are a bunch of bloodthirsty thieves who make their living on destruction, wars, and the misery of everyone else. But every dog will have his day. Everything comes to an end. It's not a question if it will happen, but when is the question.

I must confess to never having studied the Koran (forgive the spelling if incorrect), but I recall reading somewhere that it preached "tolerance", and that the taking of innocent life was "hateful to Allah". I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm in Middle school and writing a history paper. My history teacher gave us an assignment to find out will Israel and Palestine see peace in their land in the next 5 years? I am supposed to research why not. Please help with this assignement. I just need a couple of reasons why not.

because there is no greater hatred that the hatred between brothers

and jews and palestinians are genetic brothers

the only way to get peace in that region is for outsiders to force a fair solution on both sides

remember the likes of hamas are political parties......inter fighting for leadership (power corrupts, total power corrupts totally).......its a power play.........a political power play.........hamas want to rule palestine.........so not all bodies of politics in palestine pull the same way, ie it may suit hamas to disrupt a cease fire to make the PA look bad

also the same applies to israel


there have been questions asked as to why sharon orders incursions into palestine when there has been relitive quite in the region

ask yourself...how can one take more land if one is at peace with he who's land you wish to take

you can't....the only way to gin land in this situation is to ensure a peace settlment is NOT reached....a peace settlement means borders........
