| Hi! can anyone give me a good recipe for home made beefburgers and what is the best way to cook them. Im sure I remember reading somewhere that grilling them was not the best way to cook them but for the life of me I cant remember the alternative. Also, there was a brilliant recipe for Fish Pie in the mail on sunday magazine a couple of weeks ago and Ive thrown it out. Has anyone tried it and if it was as good as it sounded can they post the recipe. |

First get some lean steak mince add to bowl take one large onion and chop as finely as possible (a food mixer is good for this) add to mince in bowl.
take one egg, beat and add salt and ground black pepper and a teaspoon of dark soy sauce add this to the bowl and mix the ingredients, take some fresh parsley and chop again very finely and add to the mix.
(at this point you can customise your burgers by adding garlic, sundried tomatoes whatever really providing it is very finely chopped.)
knead the mixture in the bowl together until well mixed up, then take a lump of mixture the size of a pool ball and form the mixture into 'balls'. |
