I have been waiting with great antisipation for the new Batman Prequel, not only for the awesome action but especially for the new Batmobile. After the laughable attempt George Clooney was given as a company car they have really have thought about this one, given that the car is supposed to be as versatile as the Batbelt.

The inspiration is taken partly from the Michael Keaton car, with the matt black paint and grenades and the Hummer 4x4 (much loved in the States). However unlike the Keaton car which actually only did 15mph on account of its weight, this one despite its huge knobbly rear tyres can do just over 100mph, if you can hold onto it!

Yep, according to Clarckson when they had it on topgear.
Its also been used as the Nascar pace car back in June:

| Does that demonstrate how slow Nascars are or how quick the Batmobile is? |
