I think that is the major problem. We don't show our emotions enough and then let it pour out when something like this happens. I have the utmost sympathy with anyone connected to the girls, but it seems a little unecessary for the whole nation to share in their grief. I mean a minutes silence at the Man Utd game seems appropriate, but not at every game. We should be having a minutes silence at every game with all that goes on. Where do you draw the line?
People find it too easy to be sympathetic and emotional when something horrible like this happens, when they should be more caring, etc. every day. Perhaps this sort of thing wouldn't happen. |
